I know it may seem a bit late, but I'd like to once again thank everyone involved and those who came out in support for the GRIND skate art show.
Both the opening reception and the 'Drinks & Decks' event had great turn outs, with a lot of pieces being sold: helping both the Greensboro CVA and us starving artist types.
It was a great experience all around, and I'm looking forward to another cool show like it, soon.

So yeah, thank you peoples!!!

Also, on a related note. The two paintings of mine that weren't sold: 'Bulbous Wrath' and 'Bulbous Vice' are still available. They are both 16 x20 or 19 x 23 with the frames, and can now be seen on my main page or in my 'Paintings' section.
If interested, just send me a message and we can go over the details n' whatnot.

Hello all,

Just a heads up, the Greensboro Center for Visual Artists will be having a fundraising show Friday, May 6th.
One hundred 10"x10" works from local artists will be up for sale, at $100 a piece.
I personally have one piece up for sale, entitled 'Robo-Giraffe'....you can get a sneak peek now, in my 'Paintings' portfolio link.

First Choice admission will begin at 6pm, with a $5 early entry fee. General admission to the show will follow at 7:30pm and runs until 9pm.

All proceeds from this even will go to sustain the CVA's educational programs and gallery exhibitions.

Hello peoples,

I haven't really updated any of this in a while, so I figured I'd let you all know whats new with BannerWoodArts.

Currently I've been working on more commission work, hoping to make a little extra money on the side.
As part of this, I have a rather large landscape project coming up very soon. The piece should be a nice challenge/change of pace for me, and keep me busy for most of November.

As for my completed work, "Media Study #2" "Media Study #3" and "Teach Me to Whisper" are currently on display and for sale at Vintage 301, as part of their iCandi show.
They will be shown there for the next couple of months, and there is a lot of other cool works by local artists there as well. So be sure n' go check it out.

For those who don't know, Vintage 301 is located at 301 Martin Luther King Junior Drive, in downtown Greensboro, NC.

Also my latest painting "In the Dark" is being shown at the Greensboro Center for Visual Artists gallery, as part of the current Alter Ego show. The show will be up from Nov.2nd to the 19th, with the opening reception coming up this Friday, Nov.5th, 6pm-9pm.
It should be a rather interesting show, so be sure not to miss it!

The Greensboro CVA is located at 200 N. Davie Street, on the 2nd Floor of the Greensboro Cultural Center, also in downtown Greensboro, NC.

Well thats pretty much all I have going on right now, thanks for the support and look forward to some new and interesting stuff soon!

Hello all,

Its been a while since I last updated......I've been pretty busy lately juggling work, commissions, and free time with my PS3.
But I'm glad to announce that I now have the time, and inspiration, to get back to painting something just for myself!
While doing commissions, show pieces, and tattoo designs are fun, and tend to pay more, I haven't just sat down and painted something personal to me in a good long while....and I believe its well overdue.

That pretty much all I have to say right now.
I may post some preview pics/videos of the piece on my myspace and facebook pages...so look for those sometime soon.

Hello all,

Due to a sudden increase in demand, I have to stop taking commissions right now. I'll be busy with a lot of other commission work for the next 2 months, so you will have to wait until at least mid-November before I can take on any more work.

Well after about a week or two of technical problems, I'm glad to say I'm back online and ready to get back to updating this site.

Hey guys

So finally my site is up and running, though I still have a few things to do to make it "complete." All in all I'm pretty happy with the set-up, but any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Anyways look forward to a few more pieces to be added to the galleries....and I may even be adding a new gallery.

Also, if you haven't already, stop by the Jenkins Fine Art Center and check out my senior exhibition, entitled "Random Functions of Beauty." I'm show along with 2 other fine artists, each with different styles, which I think makes a pretty good collection.
Its up all this week in the Burroughs Wellcome Senior Gallery, with a closing reception this Saturday (April 19).
